New Year's Resolution: Wellbeing

Every year, people set goals or resolutions for the coming year - maybe to save more money, spend more time with the family, or read more. This year, we invite you to join us on a journey of wellbeing and self care. As two busy moms, we believe deeply that if you take some time for yourself and your own wellbeing, everyone around you will benefit. You will feel more relaxed and centered, and definitely less stressed! Below are some ideas to get you started on your journey this year:

We all know that taking care of our bodies is essential to feeling our best. Commit to taking the time every day to move your body. Our favorite ways to get moving are long walks in the beautiful Colorado sunshine, revitalizing yoga at our favorite neighborhood studio, and dance parties in our living rooms with our kids.

We also believe that nourishing your skin with safe, chemical free products is essential to wellbeing. We love using an exfoliating scrub in the shower or bath to soften rough, dry skin. Two of our favorites are Smoke Salt Scrub and Vyana Salt Scrub - both made with all natural and safe ingredients. Next, for hydrating your skin you could try a hydrating mist like Thousand Petal Beautifying Mist - it is light and refreshing and smells like a summer garden. Finally, we use a body oil for a deeply moisturizing experience.

Managing stress is also vitally important to wellbeing. Do something you love every day. Read a book or write a story. Light a candle (our favorite) and take a relaxing bath. Meditate. Slow down and reflect on what you are grateful for in your life. Spend time with friends and loved ones.
